Noggins were made by the Coopers.
There are two kinds of noggins
1. One kind with a wooden hoop.
2. The other with a kieve hoop - the most cherished.
Dan the Napper came from Co. Cavan to Ballivor. He napped the flanell woven by the weavers about 100 years ago.
Socks for ploughs were made by Mc Guire in Longwood about 25 years ago; at the time the swing plough was made by the local smith.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
