    Beside Magun's grave there is a little building called the stuaicín. This a conical pile of loose stones about 12 feet high. When it falls or is knocked down, the local people build it up again.
    At the eastern extremity of the lane which skirts the south side of Corron there are the ruins of an old school. This is locally know as Corron Coulach. The old people say this was a souper school, and that the scholars who attended got a pint of Indian corn each day.
