- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)it was on for a few days it knocked down a house and killed a lot of pepole, they were called Hogans. There was another great storm called a blizzard it was in the year 1723 and in the month of January and it lasted for nearly a week. Before the storm began the sky looked very dark and all the animals were along the ditch, the wind blew and then it started to snow it covered sheep and houses. The whole country was covered with snow and it was in heaps on the roads and remained there for some time
