- Local poets Tommy the miller was a great singer he lived in Dundalk and he was 35 years old when he died. James Lynch was another great singer he was great at music he could read and write and was living in Donaghmore the age he was when he died was 88 years. One song he used to sing was 'Lovely Jane'
Thomas Mc Nells was another great singer also he lived in Miltown and one song he used to sing was 'The meeting of the waters'.
