Ar an leathanach seo
- There is a pillar-stone in the townland of Bunavella (bunn-na-bhaile) in the Parish of Kilmurry, about a mile east of the village of Mullagh. It is on the top of a hill from which there is a great view in every direction, on the land of Tone Darcy. This stone is about 8 feet high, 1½ feet wide, and 6 inches thick. There is no writing or other mark. It is said that a "crock" of gold is hidden near it and if a person dug for it "where the shadow of the pillar falls at a certain time in the day he would get the gold." But no one knows the exact time, and fear of disturbing, the dead has prevented people from digging for the treasure.
