    The old people say that Friday is a lucky day for removing furniture into a new house and that Tuesday is a lucky day for going to live in a new house.
    Once upon a time there was an old cow dying at the end of March and the old people say that March borrowed three days from April and the old cow died within those three days. The old people called the three days : -
    "Trí lá an t-Sean-Bhó".
    The geese that are hatched in the months of March and April are eaten on St Martin's Day in November and that is the reason it is called : -
    "Foghmhar na nGéanna".
    At Easter the sea appears to be white. Some of the old people say it is the foam of the water, while others say it is the light of the moon. On this account it is called : -
    "Rabhartaí Geala na Cásga".
