Fianna Eireann. There are many ruins of houses in the townland and the ruins of Tromoroe Castle are still to be seen. The castle is built on an open pain and can be seen from a far distance. The castle is in a good state of presentation and is a good landmark.
A good number a people went to foreign countries long ago from Tromoroe.
