    Where St.Bridget's Well was first situated in Corney O 'Brien.s lawn in the townland of Liscannor.He gave orders to his servants to close the well,and to lock the gates and to let no one into the well.Some of the servants would have nothing to do with the well and they went away.The day they closed the well ,it removed that night ,and wells began to spring up all around his lawn.When he came down here to where it is at the present day.Then Mr. O'Brien felt sick and the doctors at home had given up.So his people made up their minds to send him to Dublin ,and he was very bad there.One night he dreamt that if he had a bottle of water from St. Bridget's Blessed Well he would be cured. He got it and he had only a couple of mouthfuls drank when he asked for
