  1. Local Landlords.
    The local landlord of Kildimo was a man named Sir. Ralph Gore. His estate was new Kildimo, Ballyvareen, Coolbeg and Knock Ruad. The Gore family lived in England but he had a land-agent in Ireland named Bradley, who lived in Cork until ninteen hundred and twenty.
    Every November the land agent came to Cruises hotel in Limerick to get the years rent from the people. If any of the people had not money enough to pay Bradley, he did not evict them but he sent a sheriff to seize their stock.
    About twelve years ago the land was purchased by the land commission and they had no more to do with Bradley.
