  1. This lady was frequently seen walking from Corraig to the Castle. Every time she visited it was remarked that some mysterious event took place.
    There is a belief that the present Castle was built on a graveyard - some of the tomb stones were removed and used in the building of the Castle. The mason noticed on his returning to his work, that certain stones had been removed, and replaced in the Graveyard. Another huge stone stood in the lawn, and it was thrown into the tide three times - but it found its way back into the lawn every morning. It was finally brought into the chapel.
