"A poultice of flowering yarrow for rheumatism" "A poultice of sea weed for tender or swollen feet, a poultice of marsh mallow for boils or abscesses. Then for sore throats the would gather overnight about a dozen snails, pick their shells with a pin and put them on a plate. In the morning a pure thick colourless liquid would be on the plate.
