- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)it is thought that they were cured by drinking the water or by rubbing it to the affected part and after doing so were healed. It is easy to know the well as there are three high trees growing near it. There is also a cross near it and it was built four or five years ago.
This Cross was subscribed for some years ago by some of the parishoners and erected by Mr Michael Magnier and his friends and is a fitting erection overlooking the town. Many Crosses are erected on various hills but few can compare with the Corrin cross as it can be seen for miles around. As the cross is approached on the summit of the hill a person can see that it represents Calvary and therefore there could be no more fitting trophy overlooking this beautiful town. At the basement, steps are to be seen where many pious worshippers kneel when visiting the cross. There is a paling around it to keep animals away from it.- Bailitheoir
