Full many a friend will call to mind the Master and Tom LaneWillie Fouhy, the writer lived in Dunmahon, Glanworth, being born there in 1855. He emigrated to New Zealand dying there in 1930. He composed many songs. The Master is Master Courtney known as the Bright Star of Munster, and Tom Lane still lives in Gurrane Fermoy.
