- Major Lombard of Ballygriffin, Killarullen was killed at the battle of Oulart Hill. He belonged to the North Cork Militia at that time.Colonel Bootle of Carrigacunne Boothe, Killavullen also belonged to the North Cork Militia and according to tradition fled from Vinegar Hill and ravelled on horse-back all the way to his home in Carrigasunna.
