  1. It is not right to "redden" a grave on a Monday.
    James Nagle of Killavullen, told me his mother, died late on a Sunday evening. The funeral was to take place on Monday, but Sunday night, just before twelve o'clock he went to Clonanimy Graveyard accompanied by a cousin of his John Buckley.
    When they came to the Graveyard gate Buckley refused to enter but he himself went to the grave and dug a sod.
    This man died some years ago aged 86 and was commonly known as "Jimbo Nagle" from his huge size.
    When a corpse is interred in the wrong grave and afterwards placed in the right grave, a broom should be put in the grave after coffin has been removed.
    Mrs. Nora Wagner of Ballincurrig Killavullen told me this
