    Butter-making -
Long ago when the people made butter they cooled the milk, and then set it in timber keelers, and let it set, until milk had been put in three times. The cream was then skimmed off and put into a cream-tub. It was then churned and when the butter was made, it was washed until the butter-milk was squeezed out of it.
