  1. Once two boys stole a bag of apples. They wanted a quiet place to divide them in order they might remain unobserved, so they decided on the local graveyard as the most suitable place for the purpose.
As they were going in over the wall, two apples fell out of the bag, so one said "We can get those when coming out". They emptied the bag of apples and one started to divide them: "Two for you, two for me, two for you, two for me" and so on.
Meanwhile two men were passing by and when they heard "Two for you, two for me", they stopped to listen.
The young fellow dividing was just finishing his task and asked the other "What about the two outside?". "Oh" said the other "we can take one each".
Hearing this, the two men outside ran for their lives and told everyone they met that God and the devil were dividing the souls of those dead in the graveyard.
