After a while Martin put his brother out on the road and he got married to a poor girl, and they had a big family, but they were very poor. One day the man brought his cow to a fair in Ballinasloe. When he was near the town he heard a very loud noise behind him. He stood, and he saw a funeral, and the people were fighting for the corpse, because he owed money to them. So this poor man said he would give the cow to them if they let the corpse be buried, and they said they would. So he gave them the cow. He
