   There was a very good match played in Crossmahon between Templemartin and Canovee. Twenty-one were playing in each side. They had no goal posts the two opposite corners of the field acted as posts. In each of these corners was a man standing with a flag. "Templemartin so cleaver assembled to gether In the plains of Cossmahon to play Canovee" There were Donny and Tady, They played there sedately. With Harriss Delaney and Pat Mahoney
