- There are several customs connected with the funerals in this parish. When the people reach the graveyard the priest is there, and he blesses the grave, but long ago he used march in the funeral with the people. Long ago the coffin used be brought to the grave in the common car, but now it is brought in the hearse. Long ago the people used go on saddle horses to the grave, but now they go in motor cars, bicycles and more people walk if the distance is not too long. In olden times the priest used go to the grave on saddle horse, but now-a days(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
