    Care of the feet.
    Long ago people used not wear boots of shoes until they were about fifteen years. I don't know of anybody in this district who never wore boots.
    In this district children go bare-foot to school in Summer. The water is thrown away after washing our feet. There are no shoemakers in this district.
    Clogs are worn by some children in winter but they are not worn locally. There is no leather made in this district.
    Very often people used to walk long distances in their feet. They often walked to Knock and Croke Patrick.
