  1. A story is related from generation to generation of a man who dreamt that there was gold hidden under a long stone in Rockfield. This man got up in the night and began digging for the gold but he died that night.
The stone stands there still and it is about six feet long and two feet broad. No one dug for gold after that.
It is said it is a very heavy stone. It is there for hundreds of years. It is situated near a ditch.
Ni fairies were seen near the place nor no light.
