  1. Meals
    Old people say that long ago people used to eat three meals namely breakfast, dinner, and supper. Long ago people used to do a few hours work before they would eat their breakfast.
    Very often people used to eat potatoes at every meal, more people used to eat porridge. When they would be working in Summer and Autumn they used to roast potatoes out in the field and ate them with butter and milk.
    I heard the table used to be placed near the wall. I never heard the table used to be hung on the wall after each meal.
    Oaten-bread and potato bread that used to be eaten mostly long ago. Meat was not eaten very often as people could not afford it.
    Vegetables were used often. They used to eat a lot of eggs on Easter Sunday. They used to eat fish.
    The fish they used to eat was ling. There were few cups long ago.
    Instead of using cups they used Noggins. There are no
