    People long ago cured sores much simplier to what they are cured with now. They cured:-
    Headaches:-
    With spring water.
    Earaches:-
    With steam of hot water.
    Teethache -
    With turpentine and cotton wool.
    Chin Cough -
    By taking hot drinks.
    Sprain -
    By walking in a running stream.
    Ring Worm
    The seventh daughter in a house can cure "ring worm" by making the sign of the cross three times where the "ring worm" is.
    A stye on a person's eye.
    By taking nine thorns from a goose-berry bush and point them nine times on Monday, Thursday and on the next Monday.
    Black Leg
    There are many preventions for black leg such as to vaccinate the cattle when they are young also black leg oids, turpentine, garlic
