    Old people say that in years gone by there was a pot of gold got in a fort convenient to Ardkieran cemetary.
    It was got by old Mr. Neilan who lived in Stonepark. Stonepark is a place convenient to Roscommon. The fort in which the pot of gold was got is in James Hogan's field.
    People say that long ago there was silver buried near the castle of Roscommon. It is buried there years.
    It is said that it was buried by the Jones who lived in Roscommon long ago. There are ruins of this castle in Roscommon.
