- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)mouth and streaks of fire coming from his nostrils. They dashed through the stream and over the fen and home as fast as they could make their way. The bull did not follow them but remained on the spot roaring and bellowing.
The following day they told their story to an old resident in the neighbourhood and their experiences of the previous night. The old man told them that in his early days he heard the tradition of the buried treasure and the man being killed to guard it and that the roaring bull must be the spirit of the murdered man that swore to his master that dead or alive he would guard the treasure.
So Terry returned to America again but before he went he was advised by this old man to cover up the hole they had dug with the clay and fallen leaves again and on one ever attempted after to seek for his hidden treasure.- Bailitheoir
