To old Drumsna I made my way,
The aquatic sports to see.
As I did pass I spied a lass,
With her shoulder to the door.
Down in Killbride she does reside.

Her cheeks are like the rose at home that in her garden grows.
Her teeth are all unique and small.
Like diamonds shining oer,
And native thou art partial
To the beauty of Kilmore

I have seen the Hebrew and the Dutch,
The CHinese and Hindoo.
The maids of Athens gifted much.
But to give laudation due,
I never have seen although I've been,
On many a foreign shore.
More gifts combined by Nature kind
