- The animals on the farm are cows, pigs, horses and sheep. The farm birds are hens, ducks, and turkeys and geese. To call the cows we say Pruggie, to call the calves we say "suck suck to call the pigs we say "hurrish to call the sheep we say "showey", to call the goat we say "Kiddie, to call the horse we say "Prough" To call the hens we say "chuck chuck" to call the ducks we say "Tweety tweety, to call the geese we say "baddy" to call the turkeys we say "Yib Yib". The cows are tied in for the Winter. Some cow houses are thatched and others have zinc on them. The domestic animals are the cat and dog. When we are calling the cat we say "Pussy". We call the dog by his name.
