    There is a place in the townland of Ballywhollan called Carraig na hAltra.

    There is a place in the townland of Ballywhollan called "Carraig Na Haltra." This place took its name from an old altar which was used for saying mass long ago. There is another place called "Poll Na Steall" in the townland of Ballywhollan. In this place is a spring well and a big tree beside it. A few yards from the well is a big waterfall from which the place is named.
    There is a place in Hackett's land called "Carraig Glas" which means the "Green Carraig"
    There is a hill called Carraig na Gat in Ballywhollan and in this place are the ruins of old houses supposed to be farmers' houses.
