    Paddy Day is a man who goes round this district

    "Paddy Day" [?] is a man who goes round this district sometimes. He goes from house to house begging things He does not stay long in this district but goes to some other district.
    Sometimes he comes into the school and sings and the master gives him money. He likes to get money. The scholars like to see him coming because they like to see him dancing.
    Oy is a pity to see him going about looking for food. It is hard for him walking every day.

    There was a travelling man in this country a few years ago.

    There was a travelling man in this country a few years ago.. His age was about sixty years and his name was "Tom McKeown" He lodged in James Treanor's of Crush. He went round the neighbour's houses and everyone liked to see him coming
