   Many stories are told about my Locality as there are many places of interest in it. There is one place called the Cavan' and on this hill St Patrick was supposed to preach to the people of the neighbourhood. And on the place where he stood there is a large hight and it is all covered with briars and whins. This field is supposed to be the longest in the townland. There are three and a half acres in the field. St Patrick said Mass on this spot and the place where he said Mass there is a lot of Shamrocks found.

   There are a few tailors that I know of but on I know best is John Mc Mahon. He can make suits and over coats. If he had good cloth he could make good suits. A tailor uses cisors and needles and thread and also a machine. He has the cisors for cutting the cloth and the needle and thread for sewing the cloth. If a tailor had no machine he could not make suits. It takes very good cloth to make a good suit. The thin cloth or wolly cloth is no good for making suits it takes very good cloth for to make suits. It takes about three yards and a half for to make a suit. There is all kinds of colours of cloth
