    he gives three strokes to the bellows to have them ready for the ghost whom they thought would be working there.
    There is no local belief in regard to the sparks which fly from, or in regards to forge water. The local smiths had no special priviliges at any time. People did not send them gifts. The smith had no special power. Some of the local smiths were story tellers. The forge has not figured in any historical or national event.
