  1. There are four graveyards in the parish. Their names are: Gurteen, Mountervin, Carrantample and Templeronan. The former ones mentioned are named after the townland in which they are situated, and Templeronan is in the townland of Cuppenagh. They are still in use. None of those churchyards are round in shape. There is the ruins of an old church in each of them.
    None of them are level. There are trees growing in two of them in Carrantample and Mounterwin graveyards.
