- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)One night a young man was going home to his father's house from rambling.As he was passing by the house some person was handing out a young child out of the window.As the child was handed out the young man took the child in his arms and took him home to his mothers house.There was another child left in his place.On the following day the child which was left by the fairies died. All the neighbours gathered together to mourn the Parents loss.But the young man who had the child at home went also to mourn their loss, just before the funeral was to start the young man erected a fire on the middle of the floor to put in the dead child into it.The fairy child flew out on the door and never was heard of afterwards.Rathmullen Fort is also a very nice(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
