Ar an leathanach seo
- There are very few farmers houses but there is a churn in. There is a churn in our house. It is about four feet in height and two feet in breath at the top and two feet six inches at the bottom.
It is made of oak staves bound with iron hoops. It is about twenty years old. Churning is done once a week in Winter and twice a week in Summer. It takes about an hour to churn in Winter-time and boiling water is added to quicken the work. It takes half an hour in Summer.
The mouth of the churn is called the peck. The lid is put on very tightly and there is a hole in the centre of it to(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
