Ar an leathanach seo

    Headache: Wrap a cloth steeped in cold water round the forehead. Strong tea without milk or sugar and inhale the fumes. Drink a table spoonful of baking soda in a cup of water. A cloth steeped in vinegar wrapped round the head.
    Cuts: Apply a cobweb to the cut.
    Wash in hot water and salt.
    Cobweb and whiskey.
    A plant called "St. Patrick's Leaf" (a variety of plantain) has numerous veins on it's leaf. Each vein has a cure for some ailment, cuts, corns, etc. etc.
    Burns: Put some snow into a bottle and when it melts apply the water to the burn.
    Apply a cabbage leaf.
    Flour shaken on the burns will relieve the pain.
    Rub burn with soot mixed with water.
    Apply a cloth on which is sprinkled some baking soda.
    Black ink applied relieves pain.
    Corns: Bathe in hot water and salt.
    Bake in hot water and washing soda.
    Cover with wool and parrafin oil.
    Steep in parrafin oil.
