- In Ned Stack's land of Carrueragh there is a fort and the name of it is Lios Limerick. When the Danes invaded that land, the King lived in that fort after the battle of Clontarf. He got three mornings to catch the sheep. The first morning he thought to grasp the sheep, and the sheep escaped, the second morning he escaped, and the third morning he caught the sheep.
