    The boys play football, handball, marbles and 'tig'.
    The girls play marbles, 'hop-scotch', tig, skipping and making summer houses.
    The young men play Gaedhealach football and handball.
    Cards are played during the long winter nights.
    The most common played is 'Twenty Five'.
    'Spoil fifteen' us also played.
    The children start marbles in Feburary and play them until St Patrick's Day.
    The girls build Easter houses round Easter week.
    Little girls have a habit of playing 'School'
    Marbles are played in the following manner.
    A triangle is drawn on the ground.
    Each player puts a marble in the triangle.
    A line is drawn about four yards from the triangle.
    Each player has a 'taw'
