My mother was shown a beautiful linen tablecloth over a hundred years old when she was a little girl. It was in the possession of Miss Kelly Drumanis who is living still and old lady far over seventy. It had belonged to her grandmother. Nothing lasts so long nowadays, our own making was the best. My own great grandmother. Mary Gallagher spun all the woollen yarn she used, from the wool of her own sheep. I do not know if they knew much about dyeing the yarn.
