Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Long ago when a person took ill he or she never went to a doctor and home cures were the remedies for every ailment. There were many cures for warts. One of these was to spit on the ground for nine mornings after each other. Every morning the wart was to be rubbed in the spit and if this was done faithfully the wart was supposed to disappear gradually.
    A local cure for the whooping cough in olden times was to cross between a donkey’s legs and over his back three times. This cure was much believed in and it is supposed to be a good remedy.
    When a person had a sprained joint he or she went to another person who had the cure of the sprain. This person had a certain thread which they wound round the joint at the same time saying some prayers. This was a very good remedy and it is still believed in.
    There is a cure for mumps in which
