“There was once a married couple and they had three daughters.”
There was once a married couple, and they had three daughters. One day the mother send her eldest to the well for a can of water. The daughter did as her mother told her, and when she reached the well, she met a woman who asked her for a drink of water. The girl refused to do so, and would not give her the drink. The woman told her to go home, and the first word she would speak to her mother, that frogs, snails and maggots would come out of her mouth. When she went home she began to tell her mother about what had happened and what the woman told her at the well, happened also.
