  1. My Home District
    This townland Doobeg, gets its name from the small hill which is known as the dunan. In order to distinguish this from another hill they called the big one Doomore and the smaller one Doobeg. It is in the perish of Bunninadden Co Sligo.
    All of it is in the barony of borran except two houses which are in the barony of Castello.
    There are twenty families in it and all the houses are thatched except four.
