    There are almost eighty people in it, there are only two people over seventy years of age namely Michael Nicholasan and Mrs Stenson, they can tell stories well in English but not in Irish.
    Some of the land is very good but part of it is boggy. There is one wood but it has no name, and in the centre of it there is a cemetery in which Mr Charles Phibbs, landlord of the place is buried.
    Around it is a big thick wall and outside this a barbed wire fence. Under the dunan. rifles.
