Landlords.
The landlords long ago were very hard on the people they used to deprive them of their houses and land and give them to other people.
There was a landlord in Killedarra his name was General Kelly. There was a landlord in Ballyforan called Lord Bagget. He lived (in) near Ballygar called Castle Kelly He made the people pay very high rent and rates, had a lot of servants working for him and he paid them very small wages.
