- Severe Weather.
We often hear accounts of great storms which swept over the country years ago. A very severe Snow storm occurred in the year 1917. The snow was about eight or nine feet on the ground. There was a number of sheep lost in the snow. Even some people who were caught in the snow Storm lost their lives. The roads were blocked and men had to cut a passage to enable carts to cut a passage to go the shop. They remained blocked for almost (for almost) (for almost) two weeks.
