- Travelling folk call at certain times of the year. They are poor people, some of them sell things such as mats, rugs, small tables and sometimes delph. Some of the names most familiar are Wards, Corcorans, Flyns, Maurhans and Joyce. Some of them will take only money. others take whatever they get. They camp our on the side of the road.
