    rafters of the old houses. It is a custom too for the people to burn the old palm. They decorate the house with holly also. If people have sacred things and if they want to get rid of them they burn them.

  2. There was once a man out late one night and as he was coming along a beast jumped upon his back. When he looked about him he saw an animal like a skinned calf on his back. The man's eyes were out of his head as soon as he looked about him. After a while the man came to a quarry and the animal dissappered. The man was never out late again.
