  2. There was once a man out late one night and as he was coming along a beast jumped upon his back. When he looked about him he saw an animal like a skinned calf on his back. The man's eyes were out of his head as soon as he looked about him. After a while the man came to a quarry and the animal dissappered. The man was never out late again.
