  1. In this district the people usually get married on Wednesdays Long ago when there were no motor cars they got side cars and when they were passing a village, the people played fiddles. The bride and the bridegroom sat on the one car on the way home. On that night straw boys came to the house and they had straw hats and they blackened their faces The captain came in first and he gave a speech and they got plenty of drink.
