  1. Mugworth is a cure for fits.
    It is to be boiled and given to the patient.
    Garlic is a cure for colds. It is to be boiled in milk and given to the patient
    Hemlock is a cure for swelling.
    Nettles are a cure for measels. The nettles are to be boiled and the juice given to the patient.
    Straclac is a moss which grows on rocks and old walls. When people are dyeing stockings they put the straclac in a little bag and put it and the stockings into a pot for about two hours. The stockings are then a brown colour. If a brighter colour is required heath is added to the Straclac.
